There's nothing better than fresh oranges right off the tree. We got some before we came home from FL in January -just as the first hard freeze hit. So glad I wasn't sitting in the stands in Daytona on the 14th, in the cold for seven hours!Tracy Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14361101058670921686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15791627.post-91083794133616196202010-02-15T16:20:38.898-05:002010-02-15T16:20:38.898-05:00You know it's a bad winter when New Orleans ge...You know it's a bad winter when New Orleans gets snow. We had it December 8th. That didn't surprise me a lot. We get it every once in a great while in December. But then we got it this month too! We're usually warming up by now. But we're still having freezing nights.

I'm worried about my citrus trees. The blood orange tree is sitting in a puddle of water, from all the rain. Been like that since early December. I've not been able to get to it to remove the fruit. It will be worthless by the time I can. I can see freeze damage on all of the citrus trees, but nothing that can't be trimmed back. Ooops. Didn't mean to blather on.CJ Parkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11242007965357225326noreply@blogger.com
